Four years ago, our family started the tradition of sending holiday cards electronically. It was also four years ago that we started the process to adopt a child from Africa. This year, Eric and my father travelled to Liberia to bring Olando home. They met children that wait each day for a home, a family, clothing of their own and dependable meals; simple pleasures so many of us take for granted. Our boys have asked this year that the money we would've otherwise spent to purchase cards and stamps be donated to help another family bring a child home from Liberia. This season and throughout 2012 we hope for good food, clean water and warm homes for everyone.
